Synastry — compare two charts

Your Big Three vs theirs — see where the planets touch

Compare two birth charts through the three foundational placements — Sun, Moon, and Rising — to see how your identities, emotions, and outward styles fit together.

What is Synastry?

Synastry is the Western-astrology craft of comparing two natal charts to see how the placements relate — supportive, challenging, or neutral. It isn't fortune-telling; it's a relationship map showing where things flow easily and where extra understanding is needed.

The three placements we compare

☉ Sun — core self

Same Sun sign or harmonious aspect (trine) = your life directions reinforce each other. Square or opposition = different viewpoints — friction, but it sparks growth.

☽ Moon — emotion and deep needs

The Moon is the deepest layer — what makes you feel safe, what kind of care you want. Compatible Moons (same / trine / sextile) carry feelings together for the long haul. Tense Moons demand strong emotional communication.

↑ Rising — outer self

The Rising is your style of meeting the world. When compared, it tells you how strongly outsiders read the two of you as a 'team'. Same / harmonious = naturally cohesive. Opposite = magnetic but constantly compared.

Why these three?

Big Three is the spine of personality — Sun is the big direction, Moon is the deep feeling, Rising is the visible self. Comparing all three gives the roundest snapshot of compatibility in the shortest read, without needing aspect-by-aspect analysis that overwhelms most people. What you get is not a verdict — it's a map of where things flow and where understanding is needed. Use it as a conversation tool, not a judgement.
